Collection: The Potcake Candle

The Potcake Candle is a boutique candle inspired by the mixed-breed dogs of The Bahamas.  They are named The “Potcake” because the locals fed the dogs caked remains of their cooking pots.  The Potcake has evolved into a breed that is extremely smart, loving, and loyal. The candle scents are inspired by tropical elements of The Bahamas in order to bring a slice of the islands into your home!

The candle is made from 7.5 ounces of 100% soy wax and hand-poured in small batches in The Bahamas.  10% of the net proceeds of each candle is given back to local dog charities that help get Potcakes off the streets and into loving homes.  The dog silhouette on each candle is hand-drawn to specifically represent the traits of the Potcake, which is now a recognized breed.  There are Potcake Facts in each candle box to help educate about these amazing companions.  Once the candle has been burnt, the wick and remaining wax can be removed and washed out with soap and water, and reused as a rock glass.
